🎬 1. Synonym Replacement
- Original: The experiment was very important for the study.
- Paraphrased: The experiment was crucial for the research.
🎬 2. It as a Formal Subject (가주어 It 사용)
- Original: To understand the data is essential.
- Paraphrased: It is essential to understand the data.
🎬 3. Active ↔ Passive Voice
수동태 (Passive) | 목적어 + be + p.p + (by 주어) |
현재 | writes | is written |
과거 | wrote | was written |
현재완료 | has written | has been written |
미래 | will write | will be written |
조동사 | can write | can be written |
예시
- Original: Scientists conducted the research.
- Paraphrased: The research was conducted by scientists.
🎬 4. Cleft Sentence for Emphasis (강조 구문)

It is/was + [강조할 부분] + that + [나머지 문장]
예시
- Original: Technology changed the way people communicate.
- Paraphrased: It is technology that changed the way people communicate.
🎬 5. Subordination ↔ Coordination
등위절 (Coordination) | 둘 이상의 문장이 대등한 관계로 연결 등위 접속사(and, but, so 등) |

🎬 6. Relative Clause (관계대명사 사용)
관계대명사(who, which, that 등)를 이용해 문장을 연결
who | 사람 | 주어 또는 목적어 | The scientist who discovered the vaccine won the award. |

🎬 7. Relative Clause ↔ Participle (분사구문)
(V+ing) | Students taking the test must be silent. ← Students who are taking the test… |
(V+p.p) | The data collected was accurate. ← The data that was collected… |
